Management Assistant

October 2017 - now

KPMG Tax & Legal Advisers

I am the management assistant of 3 managers, 2 directors and 1 partner of the Tax department in Antwerp. My responsibilities consist of, but do not limit to:
- agenda management (arranging and facilitating meetings);
- travel management;
- administrative support regarding client projects and internal risk procedures;
- invoicing;
- follow up on client and interfirm projects.

Additionally, I am responsible for filing various Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing documents via Government controlled platforms.

 

Freelance Team / Event Supervisor

September 2018 - now

KMDA vzw

Next to my full-time job as a management assistant, I work as a freelancer in the Queen Elisabeth Hall and the ZOO. There are two kind or roles I can embody:

Team Supervisor:
During concerts in the Queen Elisabeth Hall, I am in charge of the students workers. I have to assure that they know their tasks and supervise their work.

Event Supervisor:
I work as an event supervisor at China Light Festival in the Antwerp ZOO. I am the main contact person at the event. If anything goes wrong, my job is to resolve it.

Tomorrowland

At Tomorrowland, I coordinate 3 teams of volunteers who keep Tomorrowland clean. My teams have to pick the garbage of the floor, empty the bins and clean the tables. In total I work with a 130 people. I have three colleagues and we all are responsible for a zone. My zone is around the main stage. I mostly steer my people and supervise their work. The coordinator also keeps track of the materials that are used in order not to loose too much.

Communication & event manager intern

March - July 2017

Miramiro vzw

I did my internship at Miramiro vzw. I was the main contact person between Miramiro and the artists. I had to collect all the information in order to book the hotels, bikes and meals. I also participated in making the program, the website and I managed their Instagram page. 

During the festival I will go back as a payed employee. I will assist the event- and communication managers.

Event supervisor intern

January - March 2017

KMDA

My first internship took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Antwerp ZOO, Planckendael and the brand-new Queen Elisabeth hall. My week was divided in two. I spend three days a week in the office. I translated the technical rider of the QEH. I made the event book with the financial charts and also made a first version of the guidelines of the QEH.

The other two days of the week, I supported the event coordinators during the events. I assisted on a big range of events: concerts, diners, receptions, gala evenings, a wedding and much more. I really enjoyed spending time on the floor. The longer I worked there, the more they trusted me. For the event "ZOO of Life", I was in charge of managing the concert hall. 

 
 

My projects

Here are some projects I’ve been working on in college. I took an expert class in Video Montage. The videos underneath are the results of this course. The images were taken by Gaetan Dardenne, I mounted and edited the images.
